OUR ACCOMPLISHMENTS

  • We have worked with cultural educators and local art teachers and  produced and distributed over 7,000 Art Kits to children Pre-K-12 . Produced locally on the Wind River Indian Reservation. In 2023 we created 21 temporary jobs and in 2024 we created 23 temporary jobs within the Greater Wind River Indian Reservation Community to assemble and deliver these kits. This was made possible through a grant from the Wyoming Community Foundation.

  • We collaborate with Greater Wind River Indian Reservation Community mental health leaders  on therapeutic art education. We have provided  supplies to facilitate art and culture classes.

  • We have a new community connection building in Riverton, WY. Here we host family, parenting, and community classes, art and cultural education, an artist collective, Traditional Language Classes and workshops.

  • We share information about site visits to the Tribal Buffalo camp to engage  Teton County residents with the Wind River Tribal Buffalo Initiative, and the significance of the re-introduction of buffalo to Eastern Shoshone and Northern Arapaho tribes. Learn more about this important work.

  • We have initiated a Native American led  Colonial Trauma & Intergenerational Trauma - Mending Relationships In Communities Workshop  to engage understanding and promote acknowledgement  of Indigenous Peoples present and past engaging community leaders, educators, and residents in education, understanding, acknowledgement, and unity.

  • We have worked with Teton County  elected officials, community leaders, community organizations, and community members to help engage allyship, understanding, collaboration, and acknowledgement between and within communities .

  • We  hosted over forty Native American family members of Missing  and Murdered Indigenous Woman to attend the screening of the film,  WHO SHE IS , in Jackson, WY. We also hosted a community dinner to welcome these family with almost 100 attendees coming together as one  Native and Non-Native community.

  • We have helped to support a trip to the Wyoming Red Dessert with Greater Wind River Indian Reservation Community Members.

  • We collaborate with and support the work of community organizations and members within the Greater Wind River Indian Reservation Community and border towns.
